Under the Peace through Evaluation, Learning, and Adaptation (PELA) Activity, IBTCI provided a range of technical services to USAID/West Africa to enhance their effectiveness at countering violent extremism (CVE) and promoting peace within the region. IBTCI assisted in the implementation of activities to improve strategic and programmatic decision-making by undertaking evaluations of USAID/West Africa programming, conducting analytical desk and field research, leading the development of and updating of USAID/West Africa’s learning agenda, conducting CLA (collaborating, learning and adapting) activities, and developing communications products. IBTCI’s efforts spanned across multiple offices in Accra, Ghana, and supported local communities across the West Africa region, including in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, and Nigeria.
