Jeffrey Swedberg, IBTCI Monitoring and Evaluation Director, has 17 years of experience implementing, monitoring and evaluating development programs funded by USAID and other donors. He helps manage IBTCI’s Crisis, Conflict and Governance portfolio – focusing on technical work, program oversight and new business. He has been a USAID-certified evaluator since 2005 and has served as the team leader on evaluations in 11 countries, focusing on counter-extremism, democracy and governance, and economic growth. He has 12 years of experience working directly for the U.S. Government, in both the legislative and executive branches, and has worked for clients including USAID, US State Department, USDA, MCC and UK DfID. Swedberg has a Masters’ Degree in International Relations from George Washington University and is the author or coauthor of over 15 evaluations and analytical reports in USAID’s Development Experience Clearinghouse.
