The USAID/Pillar II Ebola Recover Efforts to Mitigate Second Order Impacts of the Epidemic

IBTCI will conduct performance and impact evaluations and monitoring activities to examine USAID-funded Ebola recovery interventions in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone from March 2014 through December 2019. Pillar II efforts are designed to mitigate second-order impacts, including blunting the economic, social, and political consequences of the EVD outbreak in the region. The activities will involve capturing, aggregating, and reporting on all recovery activities’ performance and impact toward achieving established Pillar II macro-level objectives as stated in the Africa Ebola Unit Strategic Framework and the Monitoring and Evaluation Results Framework. The project will include providing expert analysis of Pillar II country-level sustainability of achievements and informs adjustments to long-term country activities at the Development Objectives level as outlined in the Country Development Cooperative Strategy and the Integrated Country Strategy.
